Righteous suffering is experienced by all believers. Because we are “good people” does not exempt us from suffering. Psalms 34:19 says, “many are the afflictions (sufferings) of the righteous (good people), but the Lord delivereth (rescues) out of them all.” Once you belong to God, you have access to his delivering power.
You don’t escape suffering. You receive the strength to endure the suffering.
