Getting old is inevitable. Getting OLDER takes intentionality about some things. The wiser I am, the OLDER I shall become. Without wisdom, I’m merely getting old.
The changes in my body the last few months have let me know, that I have to be wiser if I want to get OLDER and not just grow OLD.
The “ER” at the end of the word old makes it an action word. To me that lets me know, I need to do something to keep from just getting Old. If I want to become OLDER, I need wisdom to do that.
