The Importance of Rest and Refocusing

It is important to make sure your mind, body and soul get the proper rest. In the hustle and bustle of life, we can over work, overextend over help, over support and just simply overdo it. Before we know it, we can find ourselves drained of energy, both physical and spiritual. When this happen, we are a prime target for the enemy to attack.
I took 3 days to get away and be poured into. I spent intimate time in prayer and consecration with the Lord. I used that time to settle, refocus, rest and hear God clearly about the next move in my life. It is necessary to really sit with God to receive clarity.
I now have further instructions from Him as to what my NEXT is. Jeremiah 29:11 is a scripture that we all know and quote. However, if we never sit and talk TO Him and then wait to hear FROM Him, we can’t receive the plans or hear His thoughts.
