Has your life turned out as you planned it? Have you reached all the goals you set for yourself? Did you cross every “t” and dot every “i”? We would all probably have to answer no to most of these questions. Only God knows the future and the plans He has for us. Although our lives may have not turned out the way we planned, we can know for certain that God’s plans for us are always good. (Romans 8:28)
If we want the Lord’s best for our life, we must trust that His way is better than our plans or desires. We’d like to think that we can figure things out on our own. However, no one truly understands our needs better than He does. Jesus sees what lies ahead and knows what He wants to accomplish in each one of our lives. When we spend time with Him and in His word, we’ll find our trust for Him growing as we learn His ways and His plans.
