We would all like a deeper relationship with Christ. Are we willing to do what is necessary to attain it? There is no shortcut to attaining a closer relationship with Christ. We must set intentional time and put in effort to go after God with all that we have. It takes private, intimate time with Him and His word.
Meditation means making time to read His word, and find out what the word says about you. Studying God’s word will help us gain a greater understanding in who God is. Prayer is our response to meditation and the studying of God’s word. What we learn from this overflows into praise, gratitude and prayers that line up with His will.
We can’t cut corners if we want to walk closer with the Lord. The rewards of a deep relationship with Him are worth with work and the wait.
