The Holy Spirit is the third person in the Trinity and comes to live permanently with us when we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior. Many people don’t realize who He is, how He works, or why HIs indwelling is so important to Christians. The Holy Spirt s a power or force and He, along with the other members of the Trinity keep us in constant connection with God.
On the night before the crucifixion, Jesus told the disciples that the Father would send them a helper who would be with them and in them forever, Because of the crucifixion, the Holy Spirit is our leader, teacher guide and comforter, His presence in us means that we are God’s children and that God has upheld His promise to always be with us.
