Sometimes we ask the questions, Why is this happening to me? Why is this going on in my life? Some feel they are being really spiritual when the suffer in silence or say things like, “God knows what He is doing. He doesn’t have to explain anything to me.
It is true that our heavenly Father knows what He is doing and does not owe us any explanations. However, that doesn’t mean we should dismiss our hardship or avoid thinking about what He might want to accomplish or learn through it. We must remember that even in our adversities, God is still sovereign. (Eccl. 7:14)
God can use any circumstance to put the focus on Him. He will allow events to happen that will make us seek Him for answers. Yes…God will get our attention through adversity.
