If it’s not one thing, it’s another. This is a phrase we hear when it seems to be one bad situation after another. If we are not careful, we can forget that GOD is still sovereign and in complete control.
What do we do when it feels like the trials of life are over taking us? Where do we turn? We look to the hills from whence cometh our help. (Psalm 121) The word of God should serve as a reminder that God never sleeps or slumbers. He never takes a break and is always aware of what is going on in the world.
In these uncertain times, God’s word can serve as a settling force for our minds. In times like these we must wait patiently for the Lord and know that he will not only hear us but he will help us. God has promised to lift us out of the pits of despair. No matter what the trial may be, God has dominion over it.
