It is God’s desire that we make decisions that are aligned with his will. He has promised to give us instruction and direction so that we’ll know how to move forward. (Psalms 32:8) To follow God’s pattern, one must have a clean heart, a clear mind, a surrendered will and patient spirit. Next we must have a consistent prayer life and trust the promises of God.
Although we want immediate answers from the Lord, the word tells us to pray without giving up. Being persistent in prayer positions us to be drawn closer to God. The closer we get to God, the better we hear from Him and the more prepared we will become.
