If we are believers in Christ, the condition of lost humanity should be both sobering and motivating. Ephesians 2:12 says we were “separate from Christ,,,having no hope and without God in the world.’
Jesus came into the world to take the punishment for sin and die the death we deserved. By doing this, He satisfied God’s demands for justice. This removed the guilt and condemnation of everyone who believes in Him as their Savior and Lord. Because of this we have hope and are called to share it with others. It is thru us that people will come to know that Jesus is the only hope.
Our witness and hope in Jesus should be evident in both our words and our actions. Let’s not just say we have hope, let’s show we have hope.
