News Flash! Everybody does not and will not like you! There will be people who dislike you just because they have nothing else to do. There will be people who dislike you because someone else dislikes you. There will be people who plot and scheme and pray for you demise. There will be people who spread untrue stories about you. How will you handle it? Will you respond to every accusation? Will you spend countless hours and extend loads of energy to dispel these rumors. Guess what…you can outlive a lie.
Psalms 37 gives us instruction as to what to do when so called “haters” act up in our lives. The word of God tells us not to worry about them. God tells us not to get angry and refrain from losing our tempers, In other words, chill out. Don’t be a hot head. These people and all of their deeds will be cut off. Soon we will not even be able to see them. Just stand still and see the salvation of the Lord. Exodus 14:14 says, “The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.” Ephesians 6:11 says, “Put on the whole armor of God that you will be able to stand firm against the wiles of the devil.” Suit up and stand. You don’t even have to fight. God has those haters all under control.
